La diss\u00e9mination des g\u00e8nes codant des carbap\u00e9n\u00e8mases (GCC) au sein des bact\u00e9ries est favoris\u00e9e par leur pr\u00e9sence sur des \u00e9l\u00e9ments g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques mobiles notamment des plasmides. Longtemps d\u00e9laiss\u00e9, l\u2019environnement et en particulier l\u2019environnement hydrique, est dor\u00e9navant consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un acteur \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re dans le cycle de l\u2019antibior\u00e9sistance, m\u00eame si son r\u00f4le reste \u00e0 pr\u00e9ciser. Ainsi, l\u2019isolement de BPC dans des eaux urbaines sugg\u00e8re que les milieux hydriques urbains pourrait constituer un r\u00e9servoir pour les GCC, favorisant ainsi leur persistance et leur diss\u00e9mination dans l\u2019environnement et chez l\u2019Homme. Afin d\u2019\u00e9tudier la r\u00e9sistance aux carbap\u00e9n\u00e8mes en milieux hydriques urbains, deux principales approches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mises en \u0153uvre. Une premi\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de deux territoires urbains soumis \u00e0 des pressions anthropiques diff\u00e9rentes soit trois agglom\u00e9rations de C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire et une rivi\u00e8re de la ville de Montpellier, France. La pr\u00e9sence et la quantit\u00e9 des GCC semblent fortement corr\u00e9l\u00e9es au niveau d\u2019anthropisation des milieux hydriques consid\u00e9r\u00e9s. L\u2019environnement hydrique constituerait a minima un \u00ab relai \u00bb pour les BPC d\u2019origine humaine. Par cons\u00e9quent, l\u2019\u00e9tude de la r\u00e9sistance aux antibiotiques dans des eaux urbaines souill\u00e9es par l\u2019Homme est un outil de surveillance \u00e9pid\u00e9miologique int\u00e9ressant \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper. Dans la seconde approche, les capacit\u00e9s de diss\u00e9mination et de persistance de GCC port\u00e9s par des isolats bact\u00e9riens issus d\u2019eaux urbaines ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9es. Il s\u2019agit de deux <em>Escherichia coli<\/em> porteurs d\u2019un plasmide IncX-3 encodant le g\u00e8ne <em>bla<\/em>NDM-5 et de deux <em>Aeromonas hydrophila<\/em> porteurs de plasmides IncP-6 et producteurs de KPC-2. Les plasmides IncX-3 ont certainement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la diss\u00e9mination du g\u00e8ne <em>bla<\/em>NDM-5 au sein des Enterobacterales, les bact\u00e9ries du genre Aeromonas pourraient constituer des h\u00f4tes transitoires pour les plasmides IncP-6 et jouer un r\u00f4le important dans la diss\u00e9mination du g\u00e8ne <em>bla<\/em>KPC-2.
