Cette ressource en eau est r\u00e9partie dans diff\u00e9rents r\u00e9servoirs de la Zone Critique, dont les eaux souterraines issues des aquif\u00e8res karstiques qui alimentent plus de 9% de la population en eau potable et fournissent pr\u00e8s de 13 % du volume total d&rsquo;eau souterraine pomp\u00e9e dans le monde (Stevanovic, 2019). Le fonctionnement de ces aquif\u00e8res est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme complexe du fait de leur forte h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude des \u00e9coulements au sein de ces milieux repose ainsi largement sur des approches de tra\u00e7age hydrog\u00e9ochimique, qui offrent une vision int\u00e9gratrice \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du syst\u00e8me \u00e9tudi\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les travaux men\u00e9s dans cette th\u00e8se visent \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;un traceur sp\u00e9cifique, la fluorescence de la mati\u00e8re organique naturelle, et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper l&rsquo;utilisation des \u00e9l\u00e9ments en trace comme indicateurs des chemins emprunt\u00e9s par l&rsquo;eau au sein de diff\u00e9rentes formations carbonat\u00e9es. Les pr\u00e9l\u00e8vements et analyses r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 un pas de temps bi-mensuel de juin 2020 \u00e0 octobre 2021 constituent un jeu de donn\u00e9es cons\u00e9quent et in\u00e9dit quantifiant fluorescence naturelle, g\u00e9ochimie des \u00e9l\u00e9ments majeurs et trace, carbone organique total, de 16 sources et \u00e9coulements souterrains de l&rsquo;aquif\u00e8re de Fontaine de Vaucluse, ainsi que la g\u00e9ochimie de 107 \u00e9chantillons de roches repr\u00e9sentatifs des diff\u00e9rents types de formations carbonat\u00e9es de ce syst\u00e8me karstique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats ont permis (i) d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir une critique m\u00e9thodologique de l&rsquo;usage actuel des indices de fluorescence et de proposer des pistes d&rsquo;\u00e9volution techniques et conceptuelles, (ii) de reconstruire la relation qualitative entre temps de transit et fluorescence naturelle, (iii) de mettre en \u00e9vidence le potentiel des \u00e9l\u00e9ments en trace comme traceur naturel des types de calcaires travers\u00e9s par l&rsquo;eau.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>le 3 juillet 2023&nbsp;\u00e0 14h30, jury : R\u00e9sum\u00e9 :&nbsp; La disponibilit\u00e9 et la qualit\u00e9 de la ressource en eau accessibles aux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s humaines et aux \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes constituent un enjeu majeur renforc\u00e9 par le contexte de changement global.
